🧵What a simply gorgeous fabric from French General for Moda for the Rouennerie Trois collection. Birds Rouge shows a beautiful geometric pattern of abstract cream birds and floral medallions dotted amongst smaller floral motifs against a deep red background.

Over fifteen years ago, Moda asked us to design a collection of French-inspired prints, filled with the old reds and neutrals that were popular in France in the 18th and 19th century. We called our first fabric collection Rouenneries and it is, still to this day, one of our favorites. Since then, we designed Rouenneries Deux and in October 2024, we are excited to release Rouenneries Trois - the third in a series of antique florals and small prints in a traditional French palette. We hope you enjoy this classic re-interpretation of a favorite collection from French General.
