In March, I did such a brilliant course on Sustainability Basics with Small Business Britain and Oxford Brooks University. It was a fantastic overview about what sustainability actually means. And here is the certification to show I've started thinking properly about my sustainability journey.
I don't know about you but I thought I had a good idea as to what sustainability meant and thought I was doing quite a lot towads being a sustainable small business. It turns out that I am doing quite a bit but it opened my eyes as to how much more potential there is in the business.
It also emphasised that sustainability is not a tick box exercise but it's a journey over time - often years - and it will never be complete as there is always more that can be done. I have so many ideas to put into place but that's all dependent upon available hours! School holidays are about to start so no doubt I'll start actually being able to do something in the new school year.
If you're a small business, look into the course, it's awesome!! It's free and so inspiring - the waiting list has opened for the next course in September. Sign up before the places go, it's really worth it!! Click on this link for the course.
Read all about my sustainability journey - it's only just started and I'm aware there's lots to do but you have to start somewhere!
