Two fantastic Slow Stitching Workshops in Edinburgh by Sunshine Designs Dollar

🤩I fell in love with Sashiko at the start of the year but time has run away with me and I haven't had much time to do it recently. However, I have just the best recommendation for the perfect workshops if you want to give it a go. Slow stitching really is such a lovely thing to do.

✨Sue from Sunshine Designs Dollar is offering two workshops in next week's Edinburgh Fringe programme. Sadly I won't be able to make them but go if you can! All fabric and equipment is supplied and no experience is necessary.

🪡The morning session is a Tweed and Tartan Slow Stitching Workshop: Scotland is famous for tartan, tweed, and stunning landscapes! Sue will guide you to stitch a tiny (5" square) tweed and tartan textile landscape using remnants of fabrics, and vintage embroidery threads.

🪡The afternoon session is a Japanese Boro Inspired Slow Stitching Workshop. Sue will guide you to create a Boro-inspired textile art work, by slow stitching with beautifully curated blue fabrics.

📆You'll find her at Venue 241, The Royal Scots Club, between 5-9th August. Go and have lots of fun!
