Short Break in Sedbergh, West Yorkshire Dales

🥰So we had the last trip away of the summer holidays last week - down to spend some time with my parents in Sedbergh. It's the most beautiful place in the heart of soaring hills and quaint villages. We visited the Heritage Museum in Dent - the girls were fascinated by the way that things used to be and that *shock horror* there were no ipads, cars or just general way of living so different to how it is now.

🤩Sedbergh is a beautiful quaint village nestled amongst the hills, love it there! And we had the MOST delicious meal at The Dalesman in Sedbergh - I'm still thinking about the trio of lamb, it was just so yummy! My daughters thought it very amusing that there was a sprig of rosemary in my gin!

✨We walked it off the next day with a walk up Winder - my dad used to run up and down it every morning before breakfast when he was at school there. A fact that my girls just can't get their heads around! We also had such a lovely tour around Farfield Mill - I was so absorbed I forgot to take photos. It's filled with artists studios and always has wonderful exhibitions on. I can get lost in there for ages. And they do really yummy lunches too!
