05. PAPER CUTTING KITS

05. PAPER CUTTING KITS

Make gorgeous art and lanterns from these stunning kits from Lucy Dorothy. The paper cutting starter kit is a wonderful introduction to the art of papercutting and it contains everything you need to get started. All the templates included are suitable for beginners and once finished, can be mounted or framed, making them perfect for displaying around the home or to be given as a gift.

I am also supplying two additional sets of templates - one festive enabling you to make your own cards, gift tags, festive bunting and decorative lanterns; and one for houses, trees and flowers. I think the lanterns you can make are just amazing and would be lovely dotted around the house to make it feel warm and cosy on a dark night. (Please note the templates do not contain the mat and blades needed to make them but they do include the translucent paper so you can make four of your very own lanterns)

This time last year, we popped into @whitehousegallery as we always do when we’re staying down near Kirkcudbright. We found some amazing paper sculptures and just couldn’t decide which one to choose so we brought home two! Who would have thought the Marvellously Magical Rainbow Making Machine would have become so in tune with 2020 and I love thinking of Birds Flying High when we’re all stuck in our houses and reminds us of last year when we could do the things we wanted (I tried to take photos but my photography does not pay justice to the artwork!) When I knew I wanted to supply artisan kits from independent makers I asked Lucy if I could stock some of her kits - and I was overjoyed when she said she would! So here they are - thank you @lucydorothyart!
