The beeswax wrap kits have proved to be really popular but I was keen to find a local supplier to be as sustainable as possible and use Scottish bees! I have found an amazing supplier in the Lothians whose views on sustainability echo mine being natural, organic, ethical and cruelty free. I am delighted to now be stocking these beeswax blocks to create your own beeswax wraps for the kitchen.
The blocks are pre-made blocks of beeswax, pine resin which provides the tackiness, organic coconut oil and organic jojoba oil which provides antibacterial properties and flexibility.
Buy this kit with one or two of my fabric fat quarters and you'll have a wonderful sustainable reusable alternative to cling film in your kitchen. This wrap has been made with my Dashwood Studios Elinor Moss fat quarter. You can enjoy fresher food without the plastic pollution - and you've made it yourself!! The finished colourful wraps would also be ideal for Christmas presents or a something special for a housewarming present.
